Manatee Tour - Blue Spring Wildlife Paddle Board or Kayak Adventure
(Seasonal and Based on Availability)

30 miles from downtown Orlando • Duration 2 to 2.5 hours • Beginner & kid (3+) friendly!

In the winter, Blue Spring is home to more manatees than any other place on the planet. Last winter, Savethemanatee.org counted 700+ manatees here at the same time! There are other places to see manatees, but there is no place in the world where you can see more at the same time, however we cannot guarantee that we will always see manatees.

Join us for a paddle from the shore of the beautiful St. John’s River. This river is home to many species of wildlife including manatees, deer, eagles, turtles, fish and more!

About Springs Wildlife Adventure Tour

This is a beginner and family friendly adventure. If you have ever wanted to learn how to SUP, Stand up Paddleboard, this is the perfect time. (Dogs/pets are not recommended on this tour due to wildlife.)

After a safety lesson on land you will launch on your paddleboarding and kayaking adventure to explore the river. We’ll sit quietly by the entrance to the spring where hundreds of manatees are known to swim in and out right past our vessels throughout the day during manatee season. In warmer months, we may not see as many manatee however when we do, we often see mothers with their babies, young manatees, and older manatees.

After our initial paddle on this scenic Old Florida waterway and manatee observation time, we will paddle more of the St. John’s River to try and spot other wildlife! The views of this gorgeous area are EPIC! Make sure to bring your phone to take pictures. We will provide a dry bag for those small items that you want to keep dry.
