Wildlife Paddle Adventure at Blue Spring

• 30 miles from downtown Orlando • Beginner kid (3+) friendly! • Duration: 2 hours

You’ll enjoy EPIC views on a paddle of this scenic Old Florida waterway. This is your chance to paddle and swim* in the crystal clear, beautiful spring water, which stays a refreshing 72 degrees all year long!

In the winter (November through March), Blue Spring is home to more manatees than any other place on the planet. Outside of the winter season, manatees will visit the spring on occasion as they travel up and down the St. John’s River.

Wildlife Paddle and Swim Adventure at Blue Spring

If you have ever wanted to learn how to SUP (Stand up Paddleboard), the Blue Springs Wildlife Adventure Tour is for you. It’s the perfect beginner or family-friendly adventure.

After a safety lesson on land,  you will launch from the shore of the St. John’s River and move into the beautiful, clear waters of Blue Spring. Be prepared to explore the ecosystem and experience an array of flora and fauna that live within the spring. This area is home to many species of wildlife including birds, deer, eagles, turtles, fish, manatees, and more!

This adventure shows Florida at its finest, so make sure to bring your phone to take pictures. We provide a dry bag for small items that you want to keep dry. You will leave with memories for a lifetime and unforgettable photos.

If you are looking for things to do in the Orlando area, this is a local favorite and an amazing year-round outdoor adventure!

PLEASE NOTE: The 8am tour will paddle all the way to the springhead while the 11am tour will be allowed to paddle part way through the spring, due to the high capacity at the swimming area. If you have any questions about this, please contact our office.

* We’ll take a quick dip in the refreshing spring on the tour, but we recommend entering the State Park at the conclusion of your tour if you’d like to enjoy more swimming time. PLEASE NOTE: There is an entry fee to get into the State Park. This is a very popular destination and the park will often reach capacity.
